Announcement on Signature limits

Hello everyone, this a quick recap of the Signature limits here at Friendcodes brought to you by Snowdog:

Limiting sigs to this size makes surfing the forums far less tedious. Anybody with a sig larger with this will be private messaged and asked to edit it. If you ignore this message, a moderator will edit it for you. Now, how can you make your sig smaller while retaining all of its content. Try resizing images or simply linking to them.

Please keep in mind that this rule is still active and above actions will still take place if said signature is in violation. If you're in need or have questions about the signatures limitations please feel free to contact a fellow Moderator/Forum Admin and we'll be glad to assist.

everything in a signature is considered to be taking up space, including text.
for instance in your signature you have a piece of gfx material and text saying "zarifs siganture gallery..."
the gfx art is under the limit, but the art combined with the text proberbly makes it bang on the limit.

Zarifs combined text plus sig makes him height about 194 pixels give or take 1 or 2. and mine is at 191.

If you want to mke sure your text+sig isnt over the limit just take a screen shot of your sig. Then crop it in photoshop. Then you can see what the size is =P

actualy yours is dead on the limit. As long as you dont add anything else you will be ok. Yours is 250 in height all together

I just want to add on to the announcement a little bit. I asked Corey one time, and the File size of sigs needs to stay under 100 KB. That is just Sigs and animations, text doesn't make a difference in the file size. To find out what the file size is, just right click on the image->Properties->and look at where it says 'Size of File'. Add all the file sizes of all the images together, and the total needs to stay under 100 KB.

Quick question. I believe mine is hitting roughly 280 in height. Is that alright or should I just take the PSN tag out? I don't really need it anyway.

EDIT: Nah, I'm taking it out anyway.
