As many of you may know, we have experienced some issues with the chat server lately. We've decided to move the chat to irc.initialized.org, which is far more stable and more reliable than we've previously experienced.

So feel free to join the chat (the link is at the top of the forums) and talk to other members in the main room, or join the channel for whatever wifi game you want to play by clicking the drop-down box in the top right-hand corner of the chat.

If you have some IRC knowledge and would like to help out new members wanting to learn how to register their nicks or their channels, please let me know and I'll add you to the access list for a support channel. Any help would be much appreciated. Once we have some regular operators in our official channels, I will post a list of the official channels for members to refer to.

Yes the chat server is down. Initialized went down for the first time in a millenium. Go figure.

It literally never, ever has problems. Believe me, I've had my channel on there for months and months. Suddenly the server started lagging today and services went down, now it's died completely. We can't do anything until the owner of the server comes back online.

My channel is on that server too, though. I get an average of 30 users on a daily basis and it's been situated there for months and months. We've never had problems until FC was directed there yesterday... I think FC has interweb gremlins on its tail.
