Finally, the update is complete. Here are some things you should know...
You may have noticed that the "FRIENDS" button is missing from the menu. I'll have to rewrite this page in the coming weeks and it will be back. Until then you can use the new friends section of your profile page to view your friends.
User ratings are disabled at this time. Don't panic, they will be back! We still have all of the ratings put away in a safe place.
If you notice any bugs please post them in the feedback forum.
Take the time to look at the user CP. Lots have changed. Members who have wanted to customize their profiles but feel intimidated by CSS can now use a simple form to make color changes to their profiles.
This new feature can be found here.
Users who already use the CSS form must remove their custom CSS from the control panel before using this new feature. Just
click here, clear the form and save your changes. You can not use both cusomizations at the same time, but I left the advanced feature there for members who have worked hard getting their profiles unique.
Social Groups - You can now create social groups to organize clans, or just to group friends together. This option is available in the usercp or
you can click on this link to check it out. Picture Albums - You can now share your artwork and pictures with other members by creating a photo album. DO NOT ABUSE THIS. I can not stress this enough... 1 person can ruin this for everybody. Be smart about what you upload and have fun.
Changes to Buddies and Friends - Adding friends through your control panel is now easier.
Notifications - Keep track of profile messages, friend request, private messages and more. You will find this in the usercp, or you can click on "Your Notifications" in the welcome text below the menu. (note: "Your Notifcations" will only appear if you have notifications in the system. If you do not have any you will see the standard private message information that has always been there).
Now that the upgrade is finally complete you can look forward to more features in the coming months.
Enjoy,
Corey
