McQ's Brawl clan placement Tournament.

Hey guys it's McQ here. If your reading this thread it's probably because you have looked at

The Unofficial Top 5 SSBB clans of friendcodes.com - The Nintendo WiFi Community.

Or maybe its because you were looking for some brawl tours. Im glad your here none the less. This thread is going to be used for a Brawl Clan tour. This tournament will decide what clan gets placed where on the top 5 ladder.

Sing-Ups will run from

Friday July 8 - Friday July 15

Tis tournament will be a simple climb the ladder tournament.
The winner claiming the number 1 spot and so and and so forth.

Brawl Match Rules.

• 3 stock.
• 8 minutes.
• Items are turned to off and none.
• If time runs out, the winner is determined by stock, and then by percentage.
• If both stock and percentage are identical, or a game ends with both players being KO'd simultaneously (typically because of a Sacrificial KO via Bowser's Flying Slam or Ganondorf's Flame Choke), then a tiebreaker is played. A tiebreakers is a 1 stock, 3 minute match with the same characters and the same stage.
• All people are responsible for their own control scheme/name tag and must make sure it is set before the match begins. Both players must agree to restart a match on account of a controller problem.
• Extending Meta Knight's Dimensional Cape is banned.
• Stalling is banned. (Stalling is defined as any action that deliberately avoids all conflict as to make the game unplayable. Running from an opponent to get to a better position is not considered stalling, but using chain grabs infinitely against a wall beyond 300% or using Sonic's Neutral B repeatedly underneath the stage is.)
• Any action that prevents the game from continuing results in a forfeiture of the match for the offender.
• Some interactions (for example, interrupting a throw with a wind attack) can cause one character to become frozen until being hit. If this happens, the free character is expected to capitalize on this in a timely manner; a failure to do so is considered stalling.

Clan Match Rules

- Only 3 members from each clan may participate in the match up, so pick your best!

-The selected battlers for each clan roster must be a registered user on this site.

-Changes to your tour roster are final after the Sign-ups have been ended

-The only time you may sub out a member is if they are unable to have their match or are not active during the time of the match. Honesty is appreciated.

-Under no circumstances can you recruit a new member and replace an active member of your roster in the middle of a Match up. See the rules above for more detail.

-You must post your clan name, but your 3 members dont have to be listed until the end of sign ups.

-Do not make duplicate accounts for any reason to help you in the match ups, you will be caught and dealt with.

-Oh, also when we the tours over and the placments are up on the ladder. You have to pick one SSBB clan to be dedicated to, it helps everyting go smoother when your only in one clan, n ot to mention it lowers the chance of any confusion.

Thats the beauty of this, no the leader does not have to take part, just 3 members can be the leader and 2 others or all members, the choice is up to you .
