Hello and welcome to Friendcodes first Super Smash Brothers Brawl singles tournament. On March 9th Brawl hits our shelves and we will be geared and ready to take on the world. But one question remains. Who is the best?

Thank you very much to Link64 for putting so much time and effort into the brackets. And thank you Jamez for taking the time to make me a banner. And a final thank you to Blinked for creating the advertisement icons.

.::Rules::.

• 1 vs. 1 single elimination
• 4 stock 8:00 minutes
• Best 2 of 3 (Championship match is best 3 of 5)
• No items (Smash Ball excluded)
  -If both players agree on using items, they may be used under the conditions: All items are on and frequency is set to Normal
• No Smash Ball
  -If both players agree on using the Smash Ball, it may be used as long as the frequency is set to Normal
• Banned stages: N/A
• Banned Characters: N/A
• Counterpicking Rules: N/A
• First stage is random, loser picks the stage afterwards

.::Dates::.

Round 1 Begins on Friday March 14th, and will end on Sunday March 23rd. Link_8 will give dates for round 2 on Sunday.

If you are going to be absent for a duration of the tournament please inform me and your opponent before hand. If you know who you will be playing before hand, I strongly urge you to play your matches and report them to me. The brackets will be laid out in the order sign ups are, so you will know who you are playing well in advanced.

and also,
1. does the smash ball have to be turned on, or is that also an option depending on how players choose?
2. will the tournament be on the release date, or sometime within the following week/days? (or will that be set up with the contenders also)
