It's clear to any regular forum poster that there are a lot of SSBB clans around. But, other than a few skirmishes between clans here and there, nobody really knows which one is the best. This tournament will answer that question.
Looking to prove that your clan is the best? Look no further. Introducing, the Battle for
FC!
Information: Each clan has four participants; one for each region of the bracket. This ensures that clan members don't meet before the semifinals. The champion clan will be decided via a point system, as seen by the following.
1 Winner: 5 points
1 Runner-up: 4 points
4 Semifinalist: 3 points
8 Quarterfinalist: 2 points
16 2nd round win: 1 point
Quite simply, the clan with the most points wins. After round one, points will be kept track of here. Thanks to JJHmngr for this idea. The overall winner of the tournament also gets individual awards, as seen below.
Rules: 1 vs. 1 matches
6 stock; 12:00 minutes
One-off elimination (play one match) - Best of three if both players agree
No items (make sure both players turn them off)
If both players agree on using items, they may be used under the following conditions: All items but Smash Ball are on and frequency is set to Normal
No Smash Ball under any circumstances
Matches will have to be played one week from the day the round starts. If a match is not played, the member with the more recent post on the forums will move on.
