Squirtle is actually Leonardo in disguise. This is why Squirtle is so good. Squirtle's aerial game is so awesome that sometimes it still surprises me. THIS TURTLE IS A NINJA WHILE IN THE AIR. ABUSE ITTTTTT.
Pros
Floaty, aiding his aerial game.
Small, which sometimes makes it harder to hit him
Aerials are just completely beastly
I'm pretty sure that his aerial priority is above average
Fast little guy in the air
He can cling to walls like the one under Final Destination, then jump back onto the stage
Super armor frames while in his shell
Light weight so he isn't combo'd to oblivion easily
Cons
Light weight, making him easily killed at lower percents
Smashes have pretty ••••-poor range
No projectiles

Squirtle's Moves
Jab - 9% if all hits connect
This is a three-hit combo, and has AMAZING range for a jab. For the first hit, Squirtle lunges forward and slaps in front of him with an enlarged hand. Then, Squirtle does a little jump and kicks with two enlarged feet. Finally, Squirtle jumps about as high as a short hop, and propels forward his HUGE tail.
Dash Attack - 9% if hit with the early frames, 7% towards the ending frames
Squirtle jumps forward and turns around, hitting with his shell. Squirtle lunges albeit more than about one-third of the length of Final Destination.
Get Up Attack - 6%
Squirtle gets up off the ground, swinging his tail in front of and behind him, doing 6% per hit.
Ledge Attack - 8%
Squirtle gets up off the ledge.
Up Tilt - 6%
Squirtle gets on his tail and thrusts the opponent upwards with his palms. This has a hitbox a little bit on the sides of Squirtle.
Forward Tilt - 6%
Squirtle ducks and swings out his tail in front of him.
Down Tilt - 13%
Squirtle starts spinning on the ground in front of him for a lasting hitbox that can hit through spotdodges.
Up Smash - 16%
Squirtle thrusts his hands onto the ground, conjuring two pillars of water around him.
Forward Smash - 14%
Squirtle gets in his shell and thrusts himself foward through the air. This move has deceptively bad range. Though, this move provides super armor, so it could break through some attacks.
Down Smash - 11%
Squirtle gets into his shell, and starts spinning while spewing out water.
Neutral Aerial - 9%
Squirtle's down smash, but in the air! :o!
Up Aerial - 11%
Squirtle flicks his tail upwards
Forward Aerial - 12%
olawd. Favorite move right here. This move makes Squirtle. His feet come out INCREDIBLY fast, and have a bit more priority than most attacks, so this is pretty much a staple of your game. Abuse this as much as possible.
Down Aerial - 10%
Squirtle spins rapidly with his tail pointed downward for a barrage of hits
Backward Aerial - 10% with the initial frames, 6% during the later
This is pretty much a less powerful FAir but with more range. Squirtle uses his tail instead of his feet.
Squirtle's Special Moves
Water Gun (Neutral) - 14% uncharged
Normally, this move just spews out water pushing away your opponent. This could be helpful against characters with horrible horizontal recoveries, but other than that, not that useful. Uncharged, this attack actually does damage with his fail water spurting. It's sort of funny :P
Waterfall (Up) - 15%
Squirtle creates a MASSIVE waterfall, making him virtually untouchable from above or in front of him. Use this move as a combo finisher because this thing is simple amazing.
Withdraw (Forward) - 7% to 3%, doing less damage when your momentum slows
Squirtle gets in his shell and starts to jet forward. This attack does some pretty fail damage, and has practically no uses at all. The only time you should really use this is for recovering to the stage from one of the top corners.
Pokémon Switch (Down) - 999% Actually, nothing <<
This move is so godly that it is BANNED. Do not use this. No, but seriously. This move switches Pokémon <<
Grabs
Grab Hit - 2%
Squirtle seems like he headbutts the opponent.
Up Throw - 11%
Squirtle goes into his shell and somehow hits the opponent upwards.
Forward Throw - 9%
Squirtle jumps and kicks them in the gut.
Down Throw - 7%
Squirtle jumps on the opponent, launching them at about a 45 degree angle.
Backward Throw - 10%
Squirtle jumps in front of the opponent and back kicks them
