A friend of mine knows how to cancel into Fsmash too well X(. And I find it pretty hard for Mario to get anywhere near Marth, primarily because Swords Dance or Dancing Blade or Colorful Rainbow Slice is often a factor. I try to improvise, but it's significantly harder to pull off a win against him as the plumber as I see it. I think I made need the insight of a professional...Assistance?

I love love love love LOVE this match up. As a Mario main it's one of my favorites. Marth outranges Mario in just about everything with the exception of Mario's stutter stepped Fsmash. There are two kinds of Marth's one's that Fair aggressively and ones that play very defensively with their Fair's. Marth should be very aggressive against Mario. Mario can punish aggressive Marth's who like to double Fair A LOT with his UpB OOS. It's extremely fast, has invincibility on the start up, and very high priority. Mario's FLUDD is absolute rape in this match-up, you should be using it uncharged/half charged on stage. Mario's FLUDD has a propriety known as FIHL (FLUDD Induced Hit Lag.) What this does is lag the opponent in midair to the point where their attack animation stops COMPLETELY and opens for immense punishment from a Uair or usually a Usmash. FLUDD destroys all of Marth's aerial attacks, most notable his Fair and can even push him back and mess up with Fair spacing. Marth can be combo'd very well with Uair's and is a a disadvantage when above Mario. Marth has a very predictable and mediocre recovery, most Marth's will recover from below stage level to avoid the FLUDD and cape, use this knowledge to your advantage and simply Quarter Circle Edge Hog him. Fireball camping with SHFire Ball is also a pretty effective tactic against Marth. He can swat them away with his Fair but they can prove annoying to Marth and set up for combos. SHFireball>Grab, SHFireball>Dsmash, SHFireball>Jab Combo being the most common. You need to keep your SHFire Ball approaches mixed up to prevent predictably for this to have it's up most effect on Marth. The match-up is about 60:40 in Marth's favor but it's a VERY winnable match-up when played correctly.

Marth in general is a very defensive and spacing character. Playing Marth well is a form of art in terms of how well you have to space against your opponent. You should be looking for opening in his patterns and punishing them.

G&W vs Diddy

This match up is about 60:40 in GnW's favor. GnW has an amazing aerial game as well as amazing aerial priority and outclasses just about everyone in the air, including Diddy. The hardest thing about this match-up is dealing with Diddy's bananas. Lucky for GnW he as a BEASTLY glide toss that can be linked into his overpowered Smash attacks. Diddy has a fairly good combo game but GnW can escape just about anything and reset the distance between them with his UpB, just spam it if you find yourself caught in a combo, the attack hits the opponent and you can attack out of it if he tries to chase you. As GnW you should be staying in the air and coming down on Diddy with all of your aerial attacks since they are all pretty ••••ing amazing. Remember to pick up Diddy's bananas and use them against him, just like everyone else Diddy has a problem doing anything when being banana raped. Remember to glide toss them into smash attacks to kill.

GnW has an amazing tech chase game with his Dthrow and you should be using it against Diddy. Dthrow>Chase>Re-grab. Dthrow>Chase>Usmash. Dthrow>Dsmash. Dthrow>Jab (Single Hit)>Re-Grab. Learn and use these well.

I'm having trouble with Fox vs Kirby. (Or any other short character.)

You see, the thing is, my Fox revolves around aerials, and I'm too lazy/much of an idiot to fast fall every time. Shnair doesn't hit Kirby. It only will if it connects WHILE rising. It's weird.

So yeah, I'll take suggestions on that predicimate.

No prob Taco. As for Marth, Samus can do a lot to mess with his spacing. Zair own's his aerial approches and Marth has difficulty dealing with projectiles. Samus is not very easy to gimp with her good recovery and your UpB OOS should rape any Marth trying to double Fair you. Zair edge guard can gimp Marth and his mediocre recovery pretty well. Marth is also lighter then Peach, so KOing him shouldn't be that much of a problem, even for Samus.
