Though it's been said that the delay was for translation, and whatnot, do you think it's possible Sakurai's just playing a mind game, and we'll get US exclusive characters?

You never really know, but delaying a game for a month because of just translation (especially a game like Brawl, where there isn't much text anyway- save for Subspace) is a little unlikely.

Well we did get more in the american pbr then the japanese, but we only got new skin colors, hey, maybe we get more costumes.

Wistful thinking is all that can keep us moving on with our everyday life after this tragic delay... :( I do hope there are extra characters or something after this incovenient delay.

I doubt there will be whole extra characters, then those guizes in Japam might get jealous and cause a riot. If anything, the exclusive thingy might be a new stage or two, possibly in addition to a few now trophies or stickers... maybe even a new minigame.
