SSBB Cheats and Unlockables *spoilers*

[7Roy7]

Fight as Sheik
Select Zelda, then hold A before the match begins.

Fight as Zero Suit Samus
Select Samus, then hold R using a Classic controller or Gamecube controller before the match begins. Alternately, hold Minus using a Wiimote or Z using a Wiimote with a Nunchuk controller.

Alternately, while playing as Samus during a match quickly execute an Up Taunt followed by a Down Taunt and then another Up Taunt. Note: This is not a Final Smash and does no damage.

Bonus characters
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character.
Phil Itinn

Captain Falcon: Complete Classic mode in less than twenty minutes then defeat Captain Falcon in the bonus match. Alternately, play 70 Vs. mode matches.
Falco: Complete 100-man Brawl. Alternately, play 50 Vs. mode matches.
Ganondorf: Complete Classic mode under the Hard difficulty as Link or Zelda. Alternately, play 200 Vs. mode matches.
Jigglypuff: Complete Classic mode with any character except Ike. Alternately, complete Event Match #20 or play 350 Vs. mode matches.
Lucario: Defeat Lucario in Subspace Emissary as Meta Knight. Alternately complete five Target Tests or play 100 Vs. mode matches.
Luigi: Complete Classic mode under the Easy difficulty. Alternately, play 22 Vs. mode matches.
Marth: Complete Classic mode. Alternately, play 10 Brawls or defeat Marth in the Subspace Emissary.
Mr. Game & Watch: Complete Classic mode as all characters. Alternately, play 250 Vs. mode matches.
Ness: Play 5 Vs. mode matches. Alternately reflect ten projectiles or defeat Ness in Subspace Emissary.
R.O.B. the robot: Play 160 Vs. mode matches.
Snake: Play fifteen matches on Shadow Moses Island. Alternately, play 130 Vs. mode matches.
Sonic: Complete the Subspace Emissary. Alternately, play 300 Vs. mode matches.
Toon Link: Complete the classic mode as Link. Alternately, play 400 Vs. mode matches.
Wolf O'Donnell: Finish the Subspace Emissary (Adventure mode), then complete Boss Battle mode as Fox. Defeat Wolf after he challenges you to unlock him. Alternately, play 450 Vs. mode matches then defeat Wolf after he challenges you. Another method is to complete the Subspace Emissary then go to the ruins to encounter and defeat Wolf.

All-Star mode
Unlock all bonus characters.

Boss Battle mode
Complete Subspace Emissary

Bonus stages
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding stage.

75m: Brawl as Donkey Kong twenty times.
Big Blue (Melee): Brawl as Captain Falcon ten times.
Electroplankton: Complete Event Match #28.
Flat Zone 2: Unlock Mr. Game & Watch.
Frozen Hillside: Play on the Halberd stage ten times in Vs. mode.
Great Sea: Unlock Toon Link.
Green Greens: Play as as Kirby in twenty times in VS mode.
Green Hill Zone: Unlock Sonic.
Jungle Japes: Play any Melee stage ten times in Vs. mode.
Luigi's Mansion: Complete Classic mode under the Easy difficulty.
Mushroomy Kingdom: Complete Event Match #19.
Pokemon Stadium: Play on the Pokemon Stadium 2 stage ten times in VS mode.
Port Town: Play as Captain Falcon ten times in Vs. mode.
Spear Pillar: Complete Event Match #25.

Stage Builder parts
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding parts

Edit Parts A: Play ten Vs. mode matches on Stage Builder stages.
Edit Parts B: Create five stages in Stage Builder mode.
Edit Parts C: Create fifteen stages in Stage Builder mode.

Target Tests
Complete Classic mode under the indicated difficulties to unlock the corresponding Target Test level (as well as any easier level).

Level 2 (Medium): Complete Classic mode twice under the Easy or once under the Medium difficulty.
Level 3 (Hard): Complete Classic Mode twice under the Medium or once under the Hard difficulty.
Level 4 (Very Hard): Complete Classic Mode twice under the Hard or once under the Very Hard difficulty.
Level 5 (Intense): Complete Classic Mode twice under the Very Hard or once under the Intense difficulty.

Virtual Console Trials
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding trial

Donkey Kong: Play over ten hours.
F-Zero: Complete Subspace Emissary as Captain Falcon.
