Welcome to this lucario guide, in this guide I will teach you the easiest way to play as lucario, along with some strategys that work very well. Before we get started i would like to say that the only thing i took from a site is the damage each attack does, the rest i made without taking info from anywhere else.
Why you should use lucario

Now his A moves.
A-The start of a three hit combo, not much use aside from the fact that it always has a set knockback and doesn't change depending on the opponents damage. This move also has another purpose, it can stop most other standard A combos and can then start lucarios own right afterwards, very usefull in certain situations.

AA-The second of his combo, just like the first only it does more damage and starts to move lucario forward a bit.

AAA-The most usefull of lucarios A moves. It propels lucario forward a bit and has considerable knockback on the third hit. This move has several advantages, one is that when the opponent is low on damage, it can be followed up by an aura sphere to add on to the damage. When the opponent is high on damage, it gives the user time to build up his aura sphere for an assault later on.

Forward tilt-This move can be used as a quicker but less powerful forward smash. Provides decent knockback and can be used when the opponent has low damage to hit them 2-3 times in a row to deal some quick damage.

Up-tilt-This move can be useful when the opponent is low on damage and high on damage. When the opponent is low on damage, it can be used to juggle for a couple of hits, thus racking up decent damage. When the opponent is high on damage it can be used as a get away move, hitting them and then retreating to charge your aura sphere.

Down-tilt-This move doesn't have that many purposes but can be used for edgegaurding as you can duck there and lunch it continually.

Forward smash-this is lucario's best finisher move. It is slow to hit but if you catch your opponent at the tip of the attack(where all the energy is)the opponent will fly back much farther. Very useful in finishing your opponent. It can also be used after your three hit combo to knock your opponent away from you and to deal some damage.

Maximum damage-26-30%
Up smash-This is another finisher move. Less powerful than his forward smash but can still KO at lower percentages. Aside from being a finishing move, it can hit opponents long after its strong point has been used.

Down smash-Another finisher move. This one is fast but does more damage and has more knockback than his up smash. It can't hit long after it is used but it attacks on both sides and can be used for edgegaurding.

Nair-This move doesn't have much knockback and can't cause much damage but is useful to rack up quick damage. It has a very fast recovery time and can stay out in the air for a bit.

Fair-This move can actually KO when the opponent is at higher percentages but its not likely to. A good use for this is to catch the opponent in the air with it or use it in combos.

Bair-This move is very useful in combos as well. It is similer to ganondorfs Bair but it does less damage and has less knockback. It can be hard to hit with at times but it is somewhat strong.

Uair-this move can be called a finisher move. It can KO at about 120% damage and can be useful to end combos. Can be used if the opponent has recovered to the stage at a high altitude.

Dair-Probably shouldn't be used as a finisher move. It can hit twice with good knock back and can deal a good amount of damage. If the opponent is hit with the second kick of this attack he will be sent flying. A useful move to end combos with.

Now for grabs.
Grab attack-Just as useful as everyones. Use to hit them while grabbing to rack up easy damage before you throw them.

Forward throw-Throws the opponent forwards and can be used to make them an easy target for your aura sphere. This throw can be used to chain grab only at lower percentages.

Down throw-Useful for hitting them with your aura sphere. All you have to do is throw them and jump and shoot your aura sphere to hit them. It won't work with most floaty characters and characters with a high damage percentage. The most useful of his throws. Can be followed up with a Fair or Uair.

Back throw-Not much use with this attack. It can be used to make them an easy target for your Bair though.

Up throw-At low percentages, this throw can start a juggle and can be used to rack up damage with his up tilt.

Now for his special moves.
B-His aura sphere. This is one of his best moves. It can be used to stop most opponents in there tracks. It can be used as a finshing move. To back all that up, it can be used after most of lucario's attacks, very useful. Can aid somewhat in recovery if used facing the opposite direction of the stage as it sends you backwards, not very useful for recovery but it can aid it. This move should be used a lot with all lucario users.

Side B-this move can be used as a faster but weaker forward smash. It should not be used as a finisher move. It has decent knockback and can be used to deal quick damage. If used at very close range, lucario will grab and then punch forward the opponent. Can be a very useful move.

Up B-this move should not be used to up high to recover to the stage. Instead, use it stratigically. You can control where it moves and when recovering with it you should always try to grab the edge with it, as it can easily be edgegaurded. Does no damage. You can in fact wall jump after this move and you can hang on the wall for about 5 seconds before you fall off. You cannot use this move again if you wall jump after it.

Down B-this move is a counter. It doesn't have that many uses but it aids a lot in certain situations. If you in a combo, you use this move. It comes out fats and will stop all combos if you are hit while using this move. Use caution though as if thye don't attack you, you are open for an attack and an easy KO.

Dash attack-In this attack lucario dashes forward in a kick. This has a bit of lag time so it is hard to follow up with an attack. When the opponent is at higher percentages however, thi move can be the start of a 2-3 hit combo. Useful for a quick attack and retreat move. Don't use this move that often as it can be predicted and it has lagtime afterwards if you miss.

Ledge attack-Lucario quickly gets up off the ledge and lunges forward with a blast of aura. Has just as much use as everyone elses ledge attack. Godd to use against edgegaurders.

Two ways to play as lucario
Agressive
One of the harder methods to play as lucario. Needs lots of practice to perfect combos. In this style of lucario, you must be skilled with timing his arial attacks and you must be skilled in knowing how the opponent will be sent when you hit them. Without this knowledge you will not be able to combo as well. While playing this style of lucario you must be creative in starting combos, never start combos the same way. Keep it mixed up, make your opponent keep guessing.
Defensive
You could also call this a control style of playing lucario. In this style, combos are not all that important. Whats important is your aim and ability to edgegaurd with lucario's aura sphere. Always try to keep a fully charged aura sphere at all times, that way you can launch it when needed. This style is the easiest way to play as lucario and takes less practice. Your matches tend to take longer but it is easier to win though. This style also protects you from alot of short ranged characters. Another tip when playing this style is to master shielding and dodging as you will use it alot witht his style of lucario
Other bits of info.
Lucario's attack power and knockback increase as he takes more and more damage. His attack power will double at 200% but will not increase any more after that. All his moves get stronger except his throws. Very useful when combined with his forward smash.
