Im Confused

Ok well according to Ign.com's "Smash World" it says :

-To unlock events 21-28 to beat the subspace emissary.
-To unlock Multiplayer events 9-13 beat the subspace emissary.
-To unlock R.O.B. Brawl 160 Times or get 250 unique trophies
To unlock Mr. Game and Watch Brawl 400 times or clear classic with every character (except Mr G&W).

now heres why im confused...im still playing SSE for the first time through and yet ive unlocked MR G&W, R.O.B. and events 21-28 + Multiplayer events 9-13.

can anyone help me understand whats happening...i was told that you can get R.O.B. and Mr G&W if they join your SSE party (but only once you beat it the first time) and yet ive unlocked all this stuff and havent beat it yet...

any ideas?

Also i dont know if anyone else noticed this or even if they have this problem but My Super smash bros Brawl Booklet (included in the game case) is wrong the page numbers go as follows:

-3
-8
-9
-10
-11
-8
-9
-10
-11
-12
- 13-28(normal)

Then the French Side if Fine...anyone else have this???

you get those characters and events as you go through it. i don't why it told you when you beat it

The events thing is wrong on smashworld but whats happening with the characters is there are 3 ways to unlock the first is to do a certain number of matches, the second do some weird task (like 250 unique trophys) the third is you get that character to join your party in the sse. as for the instrution manual I have no idea.
