Lucas or Ness

I think that ness is better, although I know everyone will fight that. His Bat is easily better than Lucas' Stick. It does 14% more damage, and it's range is much more.

Honestly, Ness is one of my favorite Nintendo character's of all time, but in this game, he's easily outclassed by Lucas. Yes he deals more damage and yes he can do the PK Fire + Bat combo, but Lucas is more quicker and can deal quick damage easily. Ness in the other hand is a bit slower as well, this includes casting his attack.

Ness can do combos, but lacks speed.
His B move is better than Lucas's but Lucas is faster, stronger and has good BIG smashes.

Ness: Strength
Lucas: Speed

Ness obvisily is cooler, with his hat and backpack, not to metnion lucas being a cry baby in the subspace Emissary, and I know most of us use ness, becuase he was one of our favorites in melee, but really, which one is better?
