Boosted Smash is like, how you say? A sliding up smash with distance...
in my best description, your using the dash attack animation, but replacing it with an up-smash instead to create the picture shown here...



It's practically a useful technique for surprises or chaining, It works well with other characters such as Wolf, Link, and Wario, Falco. Their are many others, but usually those characters benefit from it.

Note- Falco and Snake are the only know possible characters that can boost smash directly after a dash attack... the others have to use the
Dash -> C-Stick -> Z-up+smash technique which is way more difficult than theirs, but can be done very effectively.

Note- most of the advice doesn't really beat them, more of a warning on what their capable of doing to smash Snake left and right..., But still somewhat helpful lol

Actually, if Falco grabs you, your pretty much looking into a 30-40% chain grab, then a boost smash. Resulting in about a 65-75% combo. Yet if you don't tech when you hit the ground after the boost smash, boy your trouble, if you know what I mean. I've gotten better at snake thanks to your guide. I still havn't box K.O.'d. lol

Iono I don't Chain-grab with Falco (Much...) so I just did a "my" situation match up ^^, anyways yeah I'll go fix that with this statement...

"If Falco grabs you at 0-10%, your at a 60-80% handicap depending how good your DI is"

Falco's down throw. Some characters like Wario, Toon Link, and Sonic can get out quicker, but if your playing Bowser forget it. Your best chance is to Side-B him when he's goin for the boost smash and jump off. lol

Wario is incredibly hard to chain grab when gets over about 30%. Meta Knight has a grab you can kinda chain. Not really though, Foward throw, dash grab, forward again. Doesn't really work that great. Lots of time between each throw.

Wario's hard to chain-grab period lol, way too floaty/heavy!? (this just doesn't make sense anymore lol)

Now Marth!!, That dude has serious Chain grabbing... A simple toss and a lightning speed Side+B makes an excellent setup for another grab (unless it gets too predictable)

I'm pretty sure Wario can somewhat chain grab with his Down throw but the second grab just doesn't want to connect sometimes... most preferably a SH Dair,Bite,Ftilt is good enough...

I know that's why I said "incredibly" hard.

Wario is hard to chain grab because he's so fat the earth revolves around him, resulting in Wario being able to control gravity! :D
