Little Moogle here again to enlighten fellow smashers on the following character...,
Solid Snake himself!...
SNAKE IN HIS PRIME!!!
I wonder what did Hideo Kojima do to make Snake this powerful and good... Makes ya wonder huh?
ANYWAYS!...
The guide would normally just be this...

(Brilliant Quote lol)
But Let's be more skeptical about it...
Snake is known for his Mortar sliding, broken hit-box attacks, and just being litterally bad ass... Get ready to jot down notes because this is gonna be a good one...

(Obviously that kick didn't reach them...)
(AUTHOR'S NOTE- no, I do not like to post %'s because I myself thinks no one cares about it and just only cares for either how to use the attack, if it's K.O. potential, or look for pretty pictures >.>)
Lets start off with his award winning Standard ground moveset...
Movelist
A-combo
mere words can't describe this attack, a simple one-two-three combo with excellent knockback for a "weak attack" though its better to use his other one-two combo which
I'll explain shortly...
Dash Attack
No matter how many times someone does this to me I always get hit lol, It has a weired hit-box range and is pretty useful to move about, I mean it passes through a shielding character to avoid getting shield-grabbed... but there is the other main use of this attack which I'll explain in the AT section...
-Forward Tilt
JUSTIN WONG!!! OH MAI GOD!!!!!! (
YouTube - Evo 2007 Moment starts at 1:27...)
His Forward tilt is a simple Knee to over head swing attack with tremendous speed, range, and knock-back... Very fast attack indeed, you might be using this attack alot... good for spacing and sending people flying :p
note- alternative 1-2 combo, A -> (Crouch cancel) -> Forward Tilt Combo
to crouch cancel "A jabs" Simply Jab and at the end of the animation quickly crouch and either jab again or do something else...
-Down tilt
Sneaky, sneaky! Very good hit range and launch, best used as a surprise attack...
-Up tilt
... do I have to? *sigh* Ridiculously strong I must say... this move will mainly K.O. the floaty people in no time... Ridiculous range, Ridiculous power, this move is too good... Best to use this move after a Roll/Sidestep since it's initial attack is wicked fast.
-Down Smash
Snake lays down a Proximity mine in which if you step in that radius, you WILL die (lol), Snake users usually lay a full charged Mine after their opponent just got K.O'd so they can use it in Safety. It has good power and is a pretty sneaky attack if you know how to chain it correctly. Just try not to get blasted by it...
-Forward Smash
Extremely powerful, has a pretty good blast range, just try to be cautious when your using it, you can get mad penalized if you mess up...
-Up Smash
Snake Launches a Mortar in the sky depending on how long he charges it..., This attack will be your favorite smash attack in no time... It adds a lot of pressure on recovering opponents who are trying to get back on the stage, It adds Tactic in which you can chain an Up-tilt to a Mortar in the face Or just plain random... Usually after a Mortar, you can shoot a Forward Smash since you have safety from the Mortar, but don't take my word for it.
Grabs
"There is a general trend of throw strength throughout Brawl’s character roster. On the whole, characters with supernatural powers tend to have the most powerful throws, while fighters like the ones from the Fire Emblem series tend to have weaker ones."
(Sakurai)
-Forward Grab
Snake does a Strong Toss with his Uber CQC action... Has very good launch...
-Back Grab
Snake tosses the opponent backwards, almost equivalent with his forward Throw
-Down Grab
Oh... the possibilities... you can really test someones patience with this one, once initiated, your opponent has four options, each with consequences lol, If the opponent either stands up or Attacks from the ground, Shield -> grab do it again lol, If they Roll behind you, you can pretty much penalize them with a knee to the face Forward tilt combo, If they roll away from you, do a dash attack, most likely you will hit them OR you could chase and quickly do the grab again...
-Up grab
Snake does a pretty good suplex throw in which you could easily launch them in the air..., you can use this move with the mortar to deliver a pretty good chain.
So wait a minute... your telling me Snake is super natural!?
Aerials
-Neutral Air
A four kick combo in which the fourth kick delivers a devastating knock back... Kind of hard to use this move since you can't really jump from the floor and do all four kicks... OR CAN YOU!? simple, if you practicly press (Y or X) and hold the jump combined with A, you will do all four kicks from the ground delivering a punishing yet devastating kick combos...
-Forward Air
LoL, they gave Snake a Meteor..., This attack is very powerful, even if you miss the meteor, theres a chance they'll fly directly upwards and die, you can use this move as a recovery since it offers little hovering time
-Down Air
yay more kicks..., if you use this from the ground and connect, your opponent will either... die, or recieve huge knock back... its practically like his Neutral air... though of warning, if you don't do all the kicks for both neutral and Down air, you can easily get penalized...
-Up Air
Its like the same power as his up tilt, but much fancier, you can use this attack from the ledge and you'll bounce back to the stage cause of its little height boost...
SPECIALS!! OMG LOLOL11!!!11!
-Neutral B
Hand Grenade
This will be your main projectile... you have many possibilities with this little explosive... And you could have two at one time! lets see...
You can either throw it with 3 distances... (soft lob , hold back) (medium throw, Hold up) (Strong throw, Hold Forward)
Thats no fun..., but i'll explain the most enjoyable uses soon...
-Side B
Remote Controlled Missle (The NIKITA missile launcher AS SHOWN IN MGS1) *I know i'm going to get corrected SUE ME*
This handy little weapon lets you control a missile for a brief duration... you can use it to chase opponents that are off stage or you can use mindgame tactics... (shoot it straight up and shield to let it drop), Shielding the missile to make it drop is not a bad thing at all... if they want to be cool and side step it... you can drop it so after the side step animation is done, they'll get blasted. What I find fun with this is Shooting the missile, And making it come back to you, pretty good defense if you ask me.
-Up B
Cypher
This can make you recover from almost anything, it gives you great distance, but major vulnerability... you can easily get WoP'd by anybody from this... what User's normally due is Air dodge afterwards to avoid the attack and make it back safely on the stage...
-Down B
C4
This handy little tool Can make strategy, Spacing, and coolness all at once. basically if their in the blast radius, Press down+B again to make the bad people go away... It's best if you use this on platforms/edges/ especially Smashville's moving Platform..., You can also sticky people with it, It also goes through Shields!!!, just becareful... its Timed and has the Sticky Bomb effect...

Courteous from Halolz.com...
Man I'm wiped... but were not done yet... The advance techniques Section will be on the next post, cause this is just way too big lol...
