How did you start using your mains

I main with lucas because on melee I mained ness but I grow to like lucas more

It all started with SSB. I used jigglypuff because I wanted to main someone unique. During the SSBM era, I moved away from my home, I found a rival there. He used Ness. We had lot's of close fights but he usually won. I sold SSBM September 2007 for money for brawl then, I moved yet again. I researched techniques, strategies, combos, etc during the wait, with all the delays, I learned my mistakes. During the SSBB era, I try jigglypuff, and learn how bad it's gotten. I remembered my rival and tried Ness. He was perfect! So now I fight with Ness, to honor the friend that I've lost..

I always used Luigi when I played SSB and SSBM so many years ago... but in the end I never used him much lol. I started using Fox because I like the Star Fox series and I didn't have many characters to choose from, then Pit and then Mario later on.

In SSB i started using Link since i love the Zelda series, but i didnt like how his controls were... Then i switched to Yoshi for no particular reason, and i was getting good at him... Then i liked how powerful Ness's throws were and his weird control scheme so i switched to him...

Then in SSBM i was playing through classic mode with Samus, and i thought to myself, "I could get used to this character...". She was my main all throughout the melee years...

Now in SSBB i started with Samus, until i played against Wolf... Now i main as both of them...

SSB, I had the most love for Kirby, good Smash attack speeds and power, Brilliant Recovery game... Combo skills but not like C. Falcon or Fox... Kirby was suppose to look good throughout...

SSBM, The good years... I tried Kirby again, but this is not knowing how to play the gamecube... I looked like the biggest noob just spamming Down B... a week later, I bought my own Gamecube and my first game... SSBM. I started using Falco for a while on my noob days until I got my ass handed on a school tournament by a Falco that knew AT's. Since then I persevered to learn those AT's... 1 month dedicated to mimic Zelgadis "Fox" (Til I figured out his videos were rigged >.>) Then I learned Bomb Soldier Falco, Gimpyfish Bowser, Fumi Yoshi, ROFL Luigi... I had them all down (except Yoshi and Bowser, my Yoshi is no where near good as Fumi's (YouTube - Natukasisu-From Fumi, His egg throwing skills are the best... his SHDJFFL (Short Hop Double Jump Fast Fall L-Cancel) is too perfect... My Bowser is somewhere there -_-... Overall I liked fox the best because of shine-spiking and Shining in general So I stuck with him, but the funny thing is... I never used him in tournaments >.>

SSBB, Fell in love with Kirby for a while, then Snake, Falco, then Wario, but I still continue to go with Falco til today.

Ever since then Yoshi's been my "main" or at least my favorite character. ;D

I used to play Melee with my brother.. And he ould always use Link or Mario..
And I could never beat him because whenever I attacked he would allways dodge and knock me off.
So then I started using Falco.
And whenever he tried that technique I would zoom right through him.. And I got used to using Falco and Fox..
When Brawl came out and I saw Sonic and began using him.. And Ike also..
But I still main as Falco.
