Having problem with mains...

Every time I main someone I always end up switching I wish I could just main one character and stay that character how do you guys do it?

well actually test all the guys out
and see which your best with
thats why dedede and bowser are my mains
well the way i play wifi and against my friends is never be the same guy twice

I'm not sure how everyone else does it but if I do a match online, I don't use my main. I use other characters cause it's fun and it adds a lot of variation. Or maybe your getting used to the the characters more and are starting to have more balance over him/her

I did alot myself, i went through 10 character since i had brawl. now im comfortable with my two, Fox and Pikachu. but yeah just get familar with people eventual you'll settle down.

well is it really all that bad if you don't have a main?
having a nice balance gives you more options to counter your opponents character (assuming you know who they pick)
and if you play the person several matches, you can switch up so they cant use whatever they learned about your fighting style from the last match
and its just alot more fun to play about 20 or more characters effectively because most people tend to just stick to 1

sure its nice to be the best at a particular character, but then the only way to go is down...
keep in mind its a party game so have some fun and stop worrying about things like this

I was in the same boots as you. I think all the characters are good in Brawl, so I just played with them all until I got equally good with them. To this day and beyond, I have no mains in Brawl.

im guessing that you do have some preferences (i know i do) but finally someone who doesnt truly flat out main:)

I don't, to tell you the truth. I use one person until I get tired of 'em... right now, I'm using Sheik. Later on, I'll move onto Luigi or Ness. Get it?

Try to figure out who you have a passion for. Someone whom you feel you can own with time and time again. Of course, you have to input work into it, but you'll figure it out somehow.

(I figured out Sheik was for me long ago in a way like this.)
