Do you prefer Double or Single Elimination?

I like single better, because then the tournaments only take around an hour. In double they take like 2-3 hours which most of the time your waiting to play a match.

a redemption in a loser's bracket is always a nice feeling...

lol but it wouldnt matter if you got back in, if you lost in round one the chances of you earning a medal/prize/ are pretty much none.

Your talking about online tourneys? I'm talking about offline one's. losers bracket goes to the finals, so you still have a chance.

Uh... you do realize it's possible to win first place if your in the loser's bracket :P
If you come out the winner in the loser's bracket, ultimately you won 2nd place...

if you beat the winner of the winners bracket 2 times in a row, you won first place...

A wins a win, a lose is a lose...

Being in the loser's bracket just means, you have to fight a greater number of people... this all just concludes on luck basically :P
