So how do you like what Brawl has become so far?

Considering that it has not been a long time into the game, it still has time to grow. I enjoy it myself, but it very well may grow to even greater, they way it took time Melee to become more widespread.

I found that they're going to be releasing a new SSB anytime soon. Melee came out in like 2001 or something, and Brawl in 2008. That's a whole seven years. I'm assuming the next will take a little less than that time, but not in one or two years.

Do people read the rest of the posts in the thread? I already explained how Melee taking a long time isn't a good parallel to draw.

I'm playing Brawl less and less online every day. The wifi lag just isn't worth it, sometimes.

That's the problem. If I get used to playing offline, I'll suck when I'm online. If I get used to playing online, my playing style would be somewhat distorted offline, because I'm used to certain levels of button lag.

Their tournaments around you? If their are, just stick offline, that's what I'm doing. I'm only online for my last tourney or if I'm up for a funny MELEE with Taco.

That's what keeps me from completely destroying my brawl disc.
