Wifi connection problems. Help please?

For a very, very, veerryyy long time my wifi has not been working with Nintendo products (It has been since I changed my router). Now that AC:CF is out I desperately want to connect to Wifi. I have a Netgear router (WGPS606), I went to the Nintendo Help page and looked at their compatible router list and my Netgear model wasn't on there, I went to their common trouble routers list and it wasn't on there. Nintendo was no help, I even called to see if some of the non-english speaking people being payed to help me could do their job, and as usual they couldn't. They had me change my Wii's Static IP, manually re-set-up my wifi, and several other things (the exact same things they suggest on their site that I told them didn't work). I gave up and decided I would run down to BestBuy later on today and buy a USB router thing. Nintendo WIFI usb connectors have been discontinued and I am wondering what to do to get connected. I don't know if I should buy a normal usb connector and see if it works (if so what brand???) or to try different things to get connected. Help please. =(
P.s. I am extremely technologicly impared so small words XD.

Oh, lawd. Well, I guess since your router isn't registered on their list, it won't work. You could try buying a USB Wi-Fi connector, I hear those have the best connections for Wi-Fi.

Yeah, want brand then? Because Nintendo doesn't sell their own anymore, Linksys or what???

Yes, I would buy a USB or get another router.

I recommend a Lynksis(sp?) router. They sell them at Best Buy. They have good signal, are easy to set up, and best of all, inexpensive.

You can try ordering one online but you won't find it in a Gamestop or whatever
