Making wireless router to a wired router -

I tried playing ad hoc party on my ps3 but it wouldn't work and then I found out that you have to have a wired LAN connection to play. I only have a wireless router but is there a way to make it a wired connection like maybe a cord to connect the 2?

Does your wireless router connect through a normal router? If so, all you need to do is link the PS3 to the normal router with an Ethernet cable (the blue one).
