Need wifi help for DS games.

Hello. I've been having trouble with my wifi for my DSi. I try playing MKDS and acww online, but everytime I do, I get the error code 86420. I called Nintendo about it and told me to port foward and do an firmware update. They told me to call the company who made the wireless router I got which is Belkin. I called them and they told them what Nintendo told me about the port fowarding and firmware update. They told me that the was no need for a firmware update, because my wireless router was already up-to-date. Then they told me that what gaming device that I wanted to play wirelessly and I told the the DSi. They walkthrough it to me but I'm still getting the error code. If there is anyone that could help me on this situation, I would be most grateful.

I really wish i could help my condition is similar to yours except my error code is 50099

Your firewall could be interfering with the connection, so maybe try to adjust the settings.

My firewall is disable. I still get the error code 86420. =/

im not an expert at this but mabye you could reset your settings and then getting a new wireles router.

My wireless router is fine. Its only a few months old. My wifi works for my Wii, but not my DSi. =/

That happens to me. It is because the DSi runs off a different connection types to DS games.

It doesn't surprise me how the DSi has some flaws. I believe that the DSi is incompatible with older wi-fi games. I am not an expert so someone might say I am nuts.

Well, Nintendo is telling me to port foward on my wireless router. I tried that and it doesn't seem to work. Supposely I need to put a inbound port number between 1-65535.
