Subtitles on Ipod? - 4 Weeks Ago

So I downloaded some anime recently and wanted to put it onto my Ipod Touch. When I watched it in the original format (.mkv) on VLC, everything was fine and the subs showed up. But after I converted the file to .mp4 using Videora (probably the best Ipod converter), and tried to watch the .mp4 in VLC, the subs weren't there anymore.

Anybody know how to convert the file so that the subs are there as well? And no, the original video file did not come with a subtitle file.

I had that problem a while back. I was told the way to fixing it either you convert the files and put the traslation back in manually.
I suggest you try use a different converter like zamzar if that don't work out you have to do the option above.

How to create an iPod/iPhone video with subtitle?

Google'd, but probably related? You just have to like, convert the subtitle file, it seems.
