Here's what they told me.

Thank you for your support of The Conduit and for taking the time to
write to us. We apologize you're online experience has been less than
ideal. Due to the overwhelming increase in network traffic due to the
success of The Conduit, a small percentage of our users have experienced
some network related inconvenience. Unfortunately, High Voltage
Software does not own or maintain the servers that host our game and
therefore we cannot speak to the cause or solution to the connection
problems you experienced. We have forwarded your comments on to the
appropriate server companies for so they may address and resolve your
negative experience.

We would also suggest checking your LAN environment to ensure it is not
a local problem. When latency or lag is caused by your local
environment, it may not be immediately evident on all network devices.
Please refer to the owner's manual of your LAN device to troubleshoot
local complications that may be causing your network disruption.

Thank you again for your purchase of The Conduit. We are excited over
the public outpouring of support of our first original IP title. We
understand at High Voltage Software that our success rests on our
ability to provide you with fun and trouble free games. Your feedback
helps us find and rectify current issues affecting our players and
design solutions for our future titles.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, so we may work
toward a solution.

I want to learn that vocab omgomgomg.

The servers are maintained by other companies, I never knew that. I thought connecting to Nintendo wifi meant Nintendo administers the whole thing.

What's an IP title?

Also sending them fan mail would be ideal, we can get a Conduit 2 that way. They love teh fan mail.

So... were you having the same problem as me? And that's what they told you? Great... I have yet to get a response from them. It'll probably that though...

Hm... where do we go from here? Riots? Overthrowing Nintendo? Buy an Xbox360 and play Call of Duty?

Well... I guess if its for the better I'll just have to wait it out. Thanks for the info guys.

EDIT 11/5/09: Well... it seems the servers are back up!!! :D The lag is still very prominent... if they had them down for that long you would think they'd fix that. Oh well... at least I can Pwn no0bz again. See you guys soon!
