DS Lite Connection Issues

Hey, I'm having serious problems with my router. It is a Belkin F6D4230-4 V3 Wireless Router, and I'm having issues contacting other players on Pokemon Heart Gold.

I looked all over nintendo for assisstance but I got dead ends because, for starters, my router isn't even Registered on their lists. I've tried all of their 'solutions' but when it seems to work, I get a disconnect.

I have no idea what to do, so can someone please show me in detail how to set this up right?

Ive tried everything, dude. That didn't work. I'm not looking for suggestions, I'm looking on how to set my router up right...

I've got a DSi and I had the same issue, but with Metriod Prime Hunters.
Just change your security setting to WEP-Shared, that should work and let you connect to other people.

Tried it, didn't work. I've said before I tried nearly everything.

To better help you I need to know 1 thing. Have you connected to it before or is this the first time?

As in a brand new router.

Yeah, It's relatively new, we've only had it for 2 months. I've connected before all this started happening, but matches would lag really badly and disconnect if they weren't finished before that.

Well try putting the channel on 11, enable SSID broadcast, enable the security to WEP-Shared, wireless mode 802.11 b/g, DTIM period 108, connection rate 54mbps and the power level on 4.
If that doesn't work I don't know what to say to make your router work, sorry.

...how do I do all of that?

I mean, what tabs are these things under, I remember some of them, but I have no idea about the DTIM, mbps and the power level thing

You said it wasn't on Nintendo's support list. Maybe its not compatible with the Nintendo Wifi Connection.. Just a thought.
