broken laptop

Well,for sometime now,my laptop is pretty...broken.Whenever I tried to login to any account,it freezes.Plus,after every keystroke,the cursor disappears unless you move the touchpad again for it to reappear.This has gone for months(I tried to fix it myself,called the company,but nothing.)The company said I needed to purchase the software warranty..,which wouldnt fix the problem.So now I'm completly lost...and this is my last line.I miss my laptop bad,its just collecting dust...is there any way to fix this?I'll accept anything,but chances are,I tried it.But still,advice I need.Thanks in advance,I'd appreciate it.

Well, it's a default mouse setting for it to disappear whilst you're typing, so it doesn't get in the way. If you're running Windows just go to Control Panel > Mouse and it should be in there somewhere.
As for the logging in I have absolutely no idea. Any account on what? The internet? On your computer?

I am assuming that you are talking about logging into your computer in general? Can you go into safe mode? What operating system is it, and if it is windows vista/7 then can you do a restore?
