    Xbox 360 Problems

I'm certain some people here own an Xbox quite like myself, however I am not sure you can solve my problem since I know so little about it. I know very little about technology as well, so small words shall be used to avoid looking dumb.

You see I popped in my Call of Duty: Black Ops disk and started playing, went to Multiplayer, Xbox Live, get in a game, and as it is in the loading screen, it freezes. I turn off my Xbox and turn it back on figuring it would reset the whole mess but alas it did not. The screen stays on the "Xbox 360" screen that appears when you first turn the system on and it doesn't change from there. In other words, I don't go to the dashboard.

Now, this isn't exactly the first time my Xbox has acted stupid. Ever since December 2009, it has had trouble reading disks, and as time went by it got progressively worse until I had to open the tray six times for it to finally realize there is a disk inside of it.

So, I was wondering, if by some amazing chance someone happens to know how to deal with this problem, please tell me what I can do to fix it. A thousand good things will be brought upon your children, believe me. If not, thanks for taking the time to read this.

The first error on BlackOps seems tricky. The best course of action would be to ask a GameStop worker on advice the next time you go. Search online constantly until you find some relevant information, but i'd advice against calling the company. Calling is an impersonal way to get assistance and rarely works.

As for the disc tray error, try this Xbox Error Guide. Let me know if this helps or not.

Ah, I figured out what was wrong with my Xbox...I had to format the memory because the stupid storage device thing was acting up, claiming there was space taken while having no memory at all. So I had to just clear it. I lost all my DLC, but at least it's working again.

As for the disc thing, I'll give that link a shot. I appreciate the assistance that you attempted to give but I managed to figure it out.

Glad you sorted it. As for the discs not being read, I don't actually think it's the disc tray that is broken, it would be the disc reader, which is annoying because they're expensive and hard to replace. I think that's how it is anyway, if you've still got the warranty on it I suggest sending it back, because if they can't fix it you get a brand new one ;D

Oh, without a doubt it's a disc reader problem, and I've known that from the start, but it's just good t hear it from someone else. Or...bad in my case since I am pretty sure I'm no longer under warranty. Thanks anyway.
