im using ms paint for my sprites

but ive been wondering
is it possible to replace ALL colors at once with another?
if so how?

I'd suggest giving the program GIMP a chance. It allows you to select and replace the current colors to another. It's free, and has a lot of neat features.

The idea behind using MS Paint is that you can't do things like this. Most spriters would probably recommend you replace it by hand.

I however, think you'd be fine just opening up GIMP or Photoshop and using one of those tools. Note that this applies to color replacement only. Other tools in GIMP and Photoshop can be used as shortcuts, which ends up making the sprite worse, this is why MS Paint is recommended.

ive tried to use GIMP once
but opening and creating a new image was kinda confusing
and there are so many button options its confusing
its also kinda laggy kinda

one other paint app i have is paint.net
its kinda easier than ms paint
is there an option to do that there?

Just go Open>New Image> Done. xD That's not very hard. You can look up sites that explain what each feature does. I've never paint.net before, so I wouldn't know I'm afraid.
