You're giving up the functionality of your DSi just to play some badly made homebrew and pirated commercial ROMs. You might as well just bought a flashcard for your regular DS.

I don't have a regular DS. I had no idea the dsi was going to fail. It was good at the beginning, and I got all the DSi ware I wanted. I downloaded every single game in the 800 points section, and some other games and now I am running out of memory. I don't care about dsi ware anymore. And what the heck is good luck supposed to mean?

Eather way, I'm going to wait a little bit before I enter the DSi Homebrew Scene.. I'm thinking they will pull the rabbit out of the hat pretty soon, and I'm going to play my DS and Wii till then!
