If you want a good browser, you need a slot-2 for the extra ram. They're not too good for things like checking mail and youtube. There is a homebrew app, however, for checking email. It's called NDSmail or something...

so if i was going to get a homebrew device, which one would you most recommend. Also do you think it's worth it and where can I get it cheapest.

I would recommend the R4 not only because its cheap abut also because it gets updates faster than other flash cards.

yeah.. im gonna go with the R4 DS Revolution..! its easy to learn how to use, and its cheap! but uhm, when you ask if its worth it... im not sure i understand your question...! of corse its worth it, maan!!!
with a ds flashcard, you can do ANYTHING..!! heheh..

do any of u know what happened to the r4 forum and english website?? all i get is an 404 error saying that i cant acces the page...so is this happening to anyone else??

I'm on the last level of the first section of Doom. There are three sections, but it seems you have to buy the other two sections =/
