Help Something is wrong with my Wii - 02-25-08

So something is wrong with my wii.
Everytime I play a game on my wii after a short time of playing, my wii says Cannot read the game disc, read manual blah blah blah.
This happens with my gamecube games to, but Ive heard the wii uses like some type of lens that when it gets dusty this happens to your wii.

My room is very dusty, probably because its close to the laundry room.
Is the dust the problem ?
Also i heard you can send it to Nintendo and they will clean it for you for free but ive never sent anything like a wii somewhere i get to worried that something might happen and I have no idea how to send it.
One more question how long will it take for them to send it back to me, I want it to be back in time for brawl

Ooooo I think you might have to send it back to nintendo. Or your disks are scratched.

First check if their scratched. Clean em too. If that doesn't work, just hope you still have your warranty. Unless nintendo is doing free cleanings and I think they are.

Just trying something crazy, and there's like, a 0.000001% chance your doing this, but the disks might be upside down. try putting them in the other way.

Coolza; That has nothing to do with it...

Sounds to me like this problem is caused by smoke and dust damage to the laser disc-reader.. A friend of mine had the same problem with his Wii, and he had his Wii standing in his livingroom where he sits everyday, rolling his smokes.. And the Wii was standing in the corner of the room, where all the dust was collecting..

Sound alot like the same problem..
You might want to check your credit with Nintendo..
