I think I got virus =S

Some one help me please
Every time I search for an antivirus at the internet, the internet browser close or the pc shuts down,or when i get to download one if I'm lucky the program closes.

I don't know what's going on =S

Maybe it's not just when you're looking for antivirus programs or installing programs. Do you happen to see any kind of error message? You might have some important system processes terminating illegally (when I say ilegally, I don't mean with actual law, people.)

Try getting another browser? Something similar happened to me, but once I got Firefox I was able to get to the other sites.

And Iono if it's the same for you, but some antivirus programs won't open even if you download 'em. If this happens, apparently renaming the .exe file works... I had to do that with FF anyway.

EDIT: Although none of this will permanently fix the problem, to my knowledge. If your computer is used for money or anything and you can (somewhat) easily get a new comp like Shippuden suggested, that may be a good option. Only if you're really suspicious, though. I've had a share of srs spyware attacks and ignore 'em. Course, I don't use a credit card...

well I would say if you have a warranty for your computer get a new one because viruses do that so you wont get rid of them I wish I knew how to get rid of them without the virus system sorry/also I would try Firefox

Try doing a system restore, defrag, or do a disk cleanup. All can be found in the system tools.

I kind of realized(though off topic) recently people have been getting(supposedly) viruses. What do you guys look up? Im kind of curious.

If it s a virus, try downloading sypbot and running an update. I once had a virus that oh so messed up my computer in the worse way. I got spybot and it did wonders. Best thing is that it's free.

You don't have to look up things.

-Songs you DL in Limewire can have them attached.
-Some pop-ups just randomly pwn you.
-searching explicit content
-wrong game patch downloads
-email
-so many more lol

I have 2 virus protections :P

AVG free
and norton.

-Limewire is predictable, best option is to click on the least downloaded link.
-Unless someone is stupid enough to click on the pop ups
-Once again same thing as 2
-Patch downloads I can agree with fully.
-Emails, once again if someone is stupid enough to click on a suspicous link.

This goes to show you how people believe were this stupid.
