Yeah, Soviet was very helpful... I found that my video card only has 64 mbs of memory, and ideally it should have at least 128mb... If only I could dedicate some of my 4 gigs of RAM to video memory. :\
His specifications aren't all that great... a 2.6GHz Core Duo is over 3 generations old, and the laptop models have notorious heat issues. His videocard is rock bottom, and he won't even be able to take advantage of 4GB of RAM with a 32-bit OS.
Well his specs are much better than my family PC. I'm just saying that if I had a PC like his, I wouldn't be complaining. On my (family) PC, I have 256 (248 in actuality) RAM, 256 Video Memory, an Intel Celeron 2.9 GHz Processor, and video and graphics cards with specs that I won't even DARE to pronounce out loud. And it brings me much shame and embarrassment to have such a crapload of a PC, but then again, it's a family PC. I'm just making due with what I have. Had I the money and the decision for a PC, I would choose an Alienware. Hearing about that 4GB of RAM, 4 Terabytes of Hard Drive Space, dual integrated gigabit ethernet, oh it just makes me giddy with glee:D

Oops, sorry I'm rambling again.
alien ware
insteading of making your own custom computer people resort to brands.
i mean if you were going to get a computer get a velocity.
Other then that make your own just get the parts its alot cheaper more efficent
It's not the brand that excites me, it's the possibility of having a computer with specs like those. If I had the money, I would be making my own PC right now, but I don't. So for now, I'm making due with what I have.
