iTunes trouble - 09-22-2008

Does anyone know if there is a way for iTunes to just automatically delete and songs that they can't find on the computer, instead of my going down the list and wasting a good 1-2 hours deleting them all? I moved the folder that had all the music in and now it says that NONE of the music can be found, only the ones I bought on iTunes. Karma will be rewarded for help, thanks!

I had the same thing happen. I had burned a CD of all of the Slipknot CD's from my friends. Unless I have the CD in my computer when I update my iPhone/iPod it says files can not be found, blah blah.
I guess you have to put the CD in, it worked for me... But I don't know.
Maybe try putting it in the music folder on the computer.
I'm probably no help, sorry.

it wont automatically delete songs unfortunately. All it does is put that lil ! thing next to the song name and it gives you a chance to locate the file. Basically have all the music that you have in one folder don't move it otherwise you'll just back where NONE of the music is found. itunes links directly to that folder thats how it knows where to play the file from.

Do this by going to File> Add folder and select the folder the music is now in.

Hope i helped =)
