They are just too different games.I mean, mario kart
wii ,one of the most sold games on this year has a solid internet connection, with few but manageable disconnects(1 or 2 a week, allowing me to get to stay up in the 9k without much issues), while brawl has a very weak online(in the US), very laggy unless you use
FC in which case it MIGHT not be laggy but still is cumbersome to get in touch with the other players. And still it DIDNT affect brawl activity, nor mario strikers 2 with zero lag did kill brawl, and that is because theres Market for everything.Fighting players MIGHT NOT LIKE SHOOTERS, and they might not like SOCCER GAMES(FIFA 09 has online and so PES 2009), and they might not like pokemon battles and so fort.Theres too many gamers, too many styles. The only game that died online was tenkaichi 3 and it wasnt because other game killed it but because atari killed it and blamed nintendo.
And the conduit hasnt come out yet.I mean, i hope the best for the game but with Call of Duty World at war coming up from the renowed franchise Treyarch...Now, thats direct competition! both are shooters, both have online :there will be competition.
And same applies to quantum of solace, Shooter for
wii, with online component.
Conduit might have fine graphics but the company hasnt delivered any famous game yet, they must remember to put solid controls, gameplay and online stability.
