Here is a tip so you dont waste your money

Not Legit: Time travel to a date where nooks giving 5 times the points. Go to your Catalog and buy as many as you can of the most expesive item in the Catalog until you get 11,000 Nook Points. This will add up to a total cost of 220,000 bells for the Link Set (Hero's Clothes and Hero's Cap/Hat)

Legit: Go to Tom Nooks without Time Travel and do what I said in "Not Legit". This will add up to a total cost of 1,100,000 Bells - still saving you money.

I have the Link set and I could sell you to it for that price and go back and buy it again, but I dont feel like doing the work of adding you and going to your town.
