Rules for trading Pokémon-Updated 26th July 2009 -
05-29-07
The following rules must be followed when trading Pokémon. These rules apply in the forums, chatroom, and game hubs:
You're not allowed to trade eggs. Eggs are unpredictable, and you could end up with any Pokémon. Furthermore, it makes it nearly impossible for our moderation team to try and catch users trading hacked eggs (e.g. eggs hatching legendaries)
Arceus event is allowed. However, refer to this thread for more detail.
Do not ask to "borrow" or "tradeback" any Pokémon. There are cases where people ask this just to take your Pokémon.
Do not ask for, or offer to trade hacked Pokémon.
Don't trade to let the person "see" the Pokémon. People's Pokémon are getting stolen because they want to "see" the Pokémon first before they actually trade.
If you see any one breaking these rules report them by click the red "R" on their post. If you do post threads breaking any of these rules expect them to magically disappear or locked.
"Let's eat grandpa!" "Let's eat, grandpa!"
Commas... they save lives.

Reason: Update. Shaymin can now be obtained and thus traded. Update 2: Arceus is now allowed as well.

10th May 2009- The rules have been updated. Shaymin can be obtained via a Nintendo event. This means that, unlike Arceus, there is now a legit way to obtain this Pokémon so it may be traded. Please note Arceus is still not allowed to be traded.
