EV training problem

I'm trying to EV train my beldum but and I have pkrs and the power item nesecery so I put the beldum out so hell get the experience and sqwitch himn out since hes too weak to battle by himself but hes not getting the boost where he needs 2. Hes adamant just for the record.

Just keep switching your Beldum out. You won't see the effects right away but as it will gain lvls, you'll see its stats that you are raising jump by 3-5 per lvl.

I already at lvl 23 with my beldum and I havent started to get the boost and Im battling the right pokemon kriketunes

Not positive about this, but...
4 evs=1 stat, correct?
Say you fight 4 bibarels with pkrs=8 evs, but with the power item thats 12 evs(I think)
So in theory when you level up it should say +3, right?
Wrong.
You still gain the evs, however the stats usually dont show up until later levels, like level 100. A level 100 ev trained pokemon is so much more powerful than a un ev trained lvl 100 pokemon.

So all in all, your still getting the evs, but you wont see the stat gain till later on.

ive been ev training my jolteon recently and it stats have been going up by 3-4 and it went up by +5 two times.
It has timid nature, pokerus, and power anklet.
i started at lvl 1 with zubats and it's now level 15 with a speed of 63.
Am i ev training correctly, enough to get its speed to 394+ when its at lvl 100.
i was expecting its speed to go up more than +5 when i killed 30 zubats, but it went up +3.(it turned 15)
Is that suppose to happen?

Secondly, Thanks for reviving a dead thread from 2007
Thirdly, u don't get all the ev's immediately.. they are spread out among all the levels so that you get all of them by level 100.
