how do i catch shinies easy?

i dont think its ever been confirmed if chaining increases ur chance of catching shinies or not =\ catching shinies is difficult no matter wat

umm..dude, chaining has been proven to work, thats why lots of ppl have swarm shinies....but u cant get every pokemon shiny with this method, only pokemon in grass, and its still hard and u need to have a lot of pacience, otherwise ull be throwing ur ds at the wall when u break ur 39th chain pokemon xD

Lulz, it's proven, or else everybody who's been chaining has gotten lucky. I highly doubt that it's the latter. If chaining didn't improve chances, then how can people get several shinies within minutes, and some people have yet to even encounter a shiny? I don't think it's luck ;)

another hint ive gathered up is that a good place to continue your chain is 4 patches of grass away from your character. while i was chaining phanphy i found that theres normally one patch of grass that is 4 away from where you are, and its most lileky the SAME pokemon!
