The storyline is all-new and original. Players will guide Naruto and his squad as they attempt to complete a brand-new mission and battle never-before-seen enemies. I couldn't find any other information on the storyline. I will update if I do find some.
TOMY Corporation and D3Publisher present NARUTO: Path of the Ninja 2, the latest in the Naruto RPG videogame series this fall. Many of you might not know, Path of the Ninja was originally a GBA in Japan but US wanted to upgrade it to become a DS game. The DS version just has the added second screen, touch elements, and some well design effects.
Players will use the DS Touch Screen to explore the ninja-based world, solve puzzles, and use the jutsu attacks. The expanded roster features 30 playable characters from the hit television series Naruto, currently running on Cartoon Network(Not anymore because Toonami died). There has been a lot of improvements to the battle system will give players more options than ever before as they make use of the newly-added Squad Leader and Ninja Tag systems.
The new Ninja Tag system that lets Players power up each character with all-new modifiers and skill sets, a much larger library of jutsu attacks for everyone, a tag-out system that lets a fourth battle member wait on the sidelines for a tag or empy slot or if a player is knocked out to occur, and even more interactive attacks with the touch screen. This will improve your enjoyment of the game.
There is a lot of improvements to the game too. There's a scroll wheel on the bottom screen that can be operated either with d-pad or with the touch screen. Which includes the following actions; moving players around the battlefield, attacking, jutsu, items, defending, or fleeing the battlefield. So it's like the action menu. Movement of a character doesn't cost a turn anymore (That was annoying in the first game) so players can move their characters and then attack or do something else. The enemy attacks are also varied more now so they are not spamming one move. The extra slot is a perfect place to put a low level character though, because every party member shares experience after a battle, and that includes the team sub.
Let's start out with wifi. This is the first Naruto DS game to include wifi. Wi-Fi allow players to challenge their friends to earn points, special ninja cards, and bragging rights.
There is a lot of characters in this game so I'm only including the ones I seen in screenshots.
- Naruto- well duh

Players can use the Touch Screen and microphone to explore the world, navigate menus, solve puzzles, and use special ninja attacks.
