Makes sense, considering the iPod earphones with the remote allow you to use the mic in the remote instead of the one built in the 3DS...

I highly doubt this but I hope they will work with mario kart 7. I would love to give all those Maka Wuhu glitchers a piece of my mind.

Really need to make a headset for it even there a mic on it. Wish they made a 3DS talking thing like the wii speak channel.

i sent nintendo a complant that there was no headsets last month. i think they took my advice and made one.

There's been an official headset for a while now. Been around since late last year & is made by PowerA
