The D-Pad Lounge: More than just a generic game site

I thought I should make one more thread on this, because

1.) Doesn't seem like people noticed the other thread.

2.) Seems like people don't realize this isn't a generic gaming forum(it's not even a forum either... it contains a forum, but it isn't.... one advantage over the other sites, no?


Anyway, the D-Pad Lounge is a site that has news, articles, features and reviews on Games, Anime, Comics, TV Shows, Movies, Music and more to come as we brainstorm as I speak.

The forum link is on the top right tab on the directory.

Our forums aren't too popular, YET. We have only quite a few people who go on regularly but they are all very interesting and have much more things to talk about than just games. Contribute to the community and make it the most interesting forum you've ever been to... If enough people join, ViciousJ(the admin) will be sure to reward the members with something great, like chatrooms and official tournaments... we can't do that though, because we only have 29 members, 40% of which actually go on regularly.

So um, yeah... Please join.

It's fine if you're part of the staff there.

Looks like a good site unlike all those generic vB/Joomla sites. It shows there was effort put into it.

It's a bit incomplete though and new articles aren't posted regularly so I probably won't visit frequently but I'll check up on it now and again. Bookmarked.

The main site is complete if you count out the lack of anime reviews and something similar to the sort; that's because we've yet to write something to that category.

The admin is aware of the incompletion of the forums, tho, so it'll be done soon or later

EDIT: A game database is being established for the site now.

Also, there's a new preview section.

In addition, I'm looking for some people who enjoy writing and wish to write for the site. If you want to be a guest writer, join the forums and PM me so I can notify the admin ViciousJ or you may wish to PM ViciousJ immediately.

Anyway, the D-Pad Lounge is going through a major makeover and everything is almost done except for the main index page, which simply says "It'll be back up soon."

Also, once the site has gone through the redesign, the articles I've made will be posted as well... And I've made several. Be sure to check the site's articles and join the forums.


If you say that the site hardly has anything fun in it, then contribute to it by joining. The more members we have, the more things we'll plan.
