Nintendo WiFi access point(s) security settings are not supported by Nintendo DS?

Im in Chicago away from my home state and I need to get on wifi to keep me busy.
What does it mean when it says: "Nintendo WiFi access point(s) security settings are not supported by Nintendo DS"? Help before I die of bordom....

Wherever you are have their Wireless Router set to WPA.

The Ds does not accept WPA security.

You need to get them to alter it to WEP

It sounds like the internet that you are trying to use has security settings, and because of that it is blocking the DS. A lot of WiFi spots do that actually :/ There used to be a website that pinpointed locations that were compatible, but I can't seem to find it anymore :( I'll keep looking and tell you if I can find it :) Just keep trying different places, there are many that block it unfortunately :(
