Is it normal for game creators to not make part 2 for the same game?

I just approving my point about there some games that they never ain`t gonna make part 2 for it, especially if it, good do you want to see another one,like Kid Icarus their only game for it and I want to see part 2 for it and Ice Climbers 2 on the Wii or the DS and I want to see their own game but still they upgrade the graphics for the main characters but decided to bring them in SSB series but I want to seee them in their own game someday.

For some games the plot will just end after one game, that's just what Nintendo have decided.
