Aren`t there any other things that can record handheld games besides the ones you told me.

Definitely use a digital camera... one with low brightness and decent contrast... Get one with options so that you can adjust the quality. Some games are different than others in terms of contrast adjustment and brightness, so be sure to have a camera that will satisfy those two... I'm not a camera expert so I'm sure this is a better way, but for me, this works just fine, and it isn't very expensive.

Are you talking about a device that will record the screens directly from the source, not just recording a screen... like a screencast for a computer (records video directly from the computer rather than pointing a camera at the screen)

A tip:
Put the handheld on a sturdy surface, in a dark room, and put the camera on a tripod and don't you dare move it.

I'm not exactly sure... all the videos i've ever seen are from cameras... I suspect that there is a device out there that will record directly from the screen data, but i'm unaware of any, even some TV shows that feature DS games have a slight glossy look as if they recorded it with a camera. :/
