Lost My Town!! HELP!!!! - 08-12-2008

Ok i just switched on my nintendo ds and wanted to click continue but it was gone! it just said new game!! so ive switched it on and off lods of times and my game has gone! ive been playing this game for ages and save all the time!! whats happened???????/

Can anybody help! plzzzzzzz
