How do you beat the boss in stage 3? The one where there is 2 of them and when you shoot them enough they merge into one. I can't get past that point.

you must destroy the two cores simple when they merge there are two orange i think

Shoot them both until they're both red. Then, they'll merge into one. That's when you aim for the two differently colored dots. I think those are their combined cores.
