You should get the DS because...

Well in terms of console manufacturers everyone sucks except Nintendo.
Most of the time.

And that...if you agree...narrows down your list to 2. The DS or Wii.
At which point you decide to go for portability and buy the DS.

And that is why you should buy a DS.

I think others should by the DS for it's simple fun use, different games that are unique to each other, the fact the it has to screens, one is a touch pad and the DSi is going to have a camera and other fun uses...

That actually depends on the way it fell.the phat is definitivly more ''saffer'' when it cpomes to falling.I bought a Lite and i 'm happy with it!

I love the DS becuase pokemon D/P is exclusive to it.

although I hate the screen resolution.
