Hey has anyone heard anything about this game? I know it was announced for the DS and that there will be some sort of coop play between the DS and the Wii. That's all I know. I don't even know if it's wifi or not so a moderator might have to move this thread accordingly.

There is isn't a lot of information about this game now. I know that you can connect the DS to the Wii.

I haven't really heard of it, it'd be sort of interesting if they got the DS to be able to play on the Wii's functions. I know they've done that before, but since the Wii has motion senses it makes even more interesting on how complicated it will be. If they manage to figure out how to do that, then Nintendo has out did themselves; Many other companies such as microsoft will find a way to cheat off them. They'll be making a new game with that kind of similar functions, but with more improvement dont you guys think so?

I heard it from gametrailers.com and the characters look cool but the battles the same. Man let just hope that we can go on an adventure together in multiplayer in faraway distance because when you play Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates you can`t play faraway in multiplayer which made me mad plus it wi-fi.

Yeah, I'm definitely hoping for a US release with this game.

Actully it releases in Japan on 1.29.09 so thats pretty soon for japan. Here is what i know is FOR SURE about this game.

Wifi co-op
wireless co-op
In game chat

You can also set your own pre-set chat messages
Ex. Tired o saing "Help me cast Ultima!!" you can preset it so you don have to stand there

Lilty use spears again (YAY!)
Selkie use Rackets again(BOOO), but i think bow's are still in the game.

The monster Ahriman (that giant bat looking thing) wich is in most final fantasy games but was not in ring of fates, will be in this game.

If you have the wii version you can get mii as a playable character.
And if you have the DS version you can also get your mii as a playable character.
ANd there is more but i gtg bye!

To go more in depth on that last part, the mii's are not the only thing shared. The wireless coop is not just Wii to Wii and DS to DS. You can also go DS to Wii and vice versa. For example you and a friend can be playing through the game with DS's with 2 other people who have Wii's. Put simply, you don't have to have the same system as the person you're playing with.
