If we look back to when the Wii was first released, you will recall that most games released with the launch was rather dull on quality and performance. The Nintendo Wii was mainly designed to show users there is another way to enjoy great games, but without earning the self proclaimed title, "couch potatoe."

Recently news has been released on High Voltage Software's newest graphics and upgrades for the Wii, showing a new side to gaming once again. If you watched the videos, you saw that the graphics were an amazing upgrade from what we are usually used to seeing, right down to the smallest pixel.

Well, High Voltage Software has announced the first actual game to use this software, and by many peoples surprise, it is a shooter. The Conduit, will be the first actual game to use this software, and will have extra gizmos and gadgets to make sure it hits your shopping cart.

Recent news has leaked that The Conduit will have a well organized Online service, including a possible downloadable content package to strike the eyes of more intense gamers.

"Too many Wii owners have been told that the Wii is a casual platform with no room for serious games or top-tier graphics," said Eric Nofsinger, Cheif Creative Officer at High Voltage Software. "With The Conduit, we intend to prove that theory wrong by providing gamers with the kind of title they imagined back when the platform was first announced."

Well while this is being said, we can only hope that the words are true. Hopefully we can keep ourselves from going crazy until this game is released, which is expected to sometime in 2009.

I didn't read anything about DLC in your original source either. Where are you getting this from?

Rumor is a rumor it doesn't have to be cited in a source to be a rumor, that would make it a fact. Unless it was a lie, then it would make it speculation. Point is now that were talking about DLC it is a rumor as to if The Conduit may have it or not.
